岩坂 聡子／Satoko IWASAKA
大学院在籍中に制作を再開し、修了後作家活動を開始。学生時代は政治思想を専攻したこともあり、ニーチェやフーコーの系譜学的関心に影響を受け、日常と非日常のあわい、過去、現在、未来の繋がりと隔たりを平面作品の表現において模索している。作品として油彩を主に扱うが、パステル、クレパス、水彩、アクリルも用い、特にアクリルと油彩それぞれのテクスチャーを利用した作品も多く手がける。

Iwasaka was born in 1989 and majored in political thought. She resumed painting during a master's degree program, and after completing the program, she began to focus on her creative activities. Her works cover a wide range of subjects, from still life to political subjects. Her fundamental interest lies in the fluctuation of something when it is placed in a different place or when she gazed at it. She mainly works with oil, but also uses pastel, crayon, watercolor, and acrylic, and especially works with the textures of both acrylic and oil.
